The enriched beer series is a two beer series exploring different hop products and yeast strains developed to increase flavour and reduce production losses on hop forward beers. We created two beers using these hop oils with different yeast strains to see if it was possible to replicate or improve upon the flavour imparted by traditional hop products. The goal, to make a more sustainable IPA.
A West Coast made with a thiolised yeast strain capable of unlocking bound aroma compounds within the hops. A crisp west coast pale. aromas of passion fruit, guava and orange with a dank finish.
