We’ve said it before on these Oat Cream IPAs, it’s a very purposeful task designing the recipe for one – intentionally selecting hops that we know will accentuate the soft pillowy mouthfeel of one of these beers, and be that tropical pina colada kinda vibe we’re aiming for on them. That said, you can always go nuts on those accentuating hops and create something that is an absolute tropical hop bomb of a beer. Casual Afterlife takes the concept of approaching things softly, and throws all our most tropical fruit-forward hops at the wall, seeing what sticks. Dolcita, Krush, Strata and in-house favourite Mosaic are all singing from the rooftops on this beer that positively bursts at the seams with notes of peach rings, valencia orange, caramelized pineapple, bright guava and mango, with an underlying hum of thick, dank cannabis smoke. Incredible.
