What a treat!
A new shiny and sparkly band that was started and thought up right here in Stori! All three of these wonderful members you will have seen playing or even working behind the bar here! Katie Howells, Jack Swindley and Gideon Letch have come together to create a wonderful little band, especially for us!
Katie is a bright and bubbly singer who sings a mixture of covers and originals. She has a vibe that is mellow and easy listening. She plays a variation of guitar and ukulele through the medium of Welsh and English.
Jack is an absolutely spectacular guitarist. While also being in many other bands, he does also enjoy playing and singing solo. He has such a beautiful and stage presence that makes you want to listen to every note he plays!
Gideon is a laid back and incredibly chill person. While also having been the drummer in many different bands, you can truly see the joy he has playing with the other two. He will probably keep the chill vibes going!
Jack and Gideon have played in bands before, and Katie and Jack have done multiple joint gigs here in Stori, so we feel incredibly lucky to have the three of them together!
Behind the name -
Not only is Nokota one of the best Session IPA's by the fabulous Wild Horse Brewery (all three enjoy this beer regularly), it is also their connection back here to Stori. They have enjoyed many a glass here together and will continue to do so!
